I like building cool stuff, sure. But I also like seeing folk step out their comfort zone and solve problems they never thought they could. I find debugging people and processes just as fulfilling as making a pot of coffee, sticking on Lofi Girl, blocking out my calendar, and spending all day troubleshooting a bug in the code.

Software Development Manager

Leading the development team, with the role increasingly centred on AI advocacy and agentic systems — enabling both our own engineers and enterprise customers to build on Google's AI stack.
Advocacy & Enablement
- Won 1st place with the team at Google's Agentic Era Hackathon (Oct 2025), against 90 partner companies 🎉
- Transitioning the role toward Developer Advocacy — running workshops for customer dev teams on building agents, AI-assisted development, and the Gemini Enterprise Agent Platform
- Speaking at Google events on AI agents, Gemini CLI and Antigravity; talks at the Google Partner Techie meet-up (the hackathon win) and Netpremacy's CSS Summer Event (AI tooling)
- Running and supporting customer hackathons for agentic development (ADK / Gemini Enterprise)
- Member of the organisation's AI Centre of Excellence, shaping AI usage, tooling and adoption standards company-wide
- Internal advocate helping teams across the org adopt AI tooling and upskill
- Taken the team to Google conferences to learn and grow our name within the Google developer space

- Architect and delivery manager for the team's Business Continuity Platform — the largest product the team has shipped to date
- Built and shipped full production agents internally; prototyped multi-agent systems for enterprise customers using ADK and Gemini Enterprise (formerly Vertex AI)

- Grew the team through hiring; personal development plans and mentorship for developers at all levels

Outside the Office

Farsi
I am currently learning Farsi after a few years break where I forgot so much of it 😫 So far I've been using Grokv3 as my tutor and it's doing a fantastic job!

Cyberpunk
The Cyberpunk universe fascinates me - both the games and the show. I rarely play video games but when I do, I always reach for Cyberpunk and spend most of the time basking in the neon-lit streets of Night City.

Glasgow Rangers
I was born loving Rangers and I'll die loving them too. I don't live in Scotland anymore so Ibrox feels very far away but the Rangers family is large and you can always find a place to watch the game and cheer them on!
